LCD televisions (monitors) have two main types of mounts, one is fixed flat on wall and the other is the fully articulating mount. The Fixed mounts are just that, they mount your TV so that it is flat on the wall with very little adjustment thereafter, it may have a fifteen degree tilt. The fully articulating mounts have two arms that allow for a myriad of final viewing angles as the arms can be adjusted as required. In certain instances your application may call for a LCD mount that is mounted to the ceiling. Once you have figured out what you are mounting to, the next criteria is the VESA pattern of your television.
